Copy

For my copy I decided to try a sketch effect on a small animation. This example uses a dog, compared to my emulation which will use coffee. I used this video below as it shows me the technique of the creator making it easier to follow the process when creating my emulation.

I started by creating the main body of the dog using the curved rectangle tool. I changed the colour of the back legs to emulate the fact they are further away than the front, but it also shows a shadows.

I then added the detail to the face using the rounded rectangle tool again. I also added the darker colour to simulate the shadow of the head.

This is my finished dog illustration, I will now take this into after effects and animate, but also add the sketched effect.

I then added keyframes and moved the legs up and down, the ears up and down and the tail which gave the dog a walking animation. I added paper background and moved it to the left to simulate the walking direction. I then added small lines to and the sketched effect of the top.

This is my result of my copy. It is pretty close to the original using the same colours and animations the artist used.
